A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Office of Urbana School District #116,
1101 E. University Avenue, Suite B, Urbana, IL 61802 on Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.
Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions
received up to two business days prior to conference.

Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will
consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as
follows:
Bid Date: Wednesday April 10, 2024.
Bid Time: 2:30 p.m. CST, local time.
Location: Office of Urbana School District #116, 1101 E. University Avenue, Suite B, Urbana, IL
61802.
Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. The District will follow social distancing guidelines and
have limited attendance at the Bid opening at the District office.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any
informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept the bids deemed most favorable to their interest,
after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
Description
Project consists of removing existing ballasted single ply membrane roofing and all existing insulation on three smaller roofs of Urbana Middle School. Roof areas are approximately 5,300 base bid and two alternates of 5,210 for a total of 10,510 square feet. In addition, approximately 145 linear feet of base flashing is to be replaced at surrounding roofs. New insulation will be installed and a new fully adhered TPO membrane will be installed along with required flashing and roof edge.
