Sealed bids for the proposed work will be received by the Purchasing Supervisor up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time on March 3, 2026 at the Champaign County Forest Preserve, PO Box 1040, Mahomet, IL 61853.
Bids must be securely sealed in an opaque envelope and addressed to the Purchasing Supervisor at the Champaign County Forest Preserve District, PO Box 1040, Mahomet, IL 61853. Envelope should be marked Bid: CCFP Nature Center Project. Bids received after time of closing will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately following the closing time for receiving Bids. Any interested parties are invited to attend.
Description
Work generally includes but is not limited to the following:
- Selective demolition and interior remodel of the existing building.
- Construction of a new 2,500 SF wood-framed addition.
- Civil work and landscaping
- Geothermal system
- Associated plumbing and electrical work.
- Accessibility updates.
