Sealed proposals will be received at the Auditor’s Office, 100 W Main St, Muncie, IN, until 8:30 a.m. on October 5, 2026. Bids received after the 8:30 a.m. deadline will not be considered but will be returned to the bidder unopened. All proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud at the County Commissioner’s Meeting at 9:00 a.m. on October 5, 2026. Only proposals from those CONTRACTORS who are registered on the Indiana Department of Transportation’s current listing of Prequalified Contractors for item D(A) “Highway or Railroad Bridge over Water” will be considered. Any bids submitted by CONTRACTORS not approved for this item on the list will be returned to the bidder unopened.
